What if I can't attend the Mandatory Orientation?

Due to the extremely shortened nature of summer school, attendance at the orientation is mandatory for all A-G students.  It is a CUSD requirement and no exceptions can be made.

Students that cannot attend the orientation have several alternate options:

Online classes are offered for all  CUSD high school students:

1.before school

2.after school

3.during lunch or tutorial

These options are available to all students in grades 9-12 in the fall and spring semesters.  Check with your Academic Advisor to see what options are available at your school.

Students can also enroll in summer courses during the remaining high school years.

Remember: If you are taking ONLY HEALTH or any NON A-G class, your orientation is online, you do not need to come to campus unless you require assistance from your teacher. You will receive instructions in email how to work in your class.
