What if I can't or I am unable to take the class in the summer, what can I do?

If you are unable to take the course this summer, do not worry, you still have many other options available.

Online classes are always offered for all  CUSD high school students during the fall and spring semesters:

1. Before school

2. After school

3. During the bell schedule (must be credit deficient)

These options are available to all students in grades 9-12 in the fall and spring semesters. Check with your Counselor to see what options are available at your school.

Students can also enroll in summer courses during the remaining high school years.

Just FYI...Students that take an online class during the school year have 9 weeks to complete a non A-G class, and 14 weeks for an A-G class.  No work is due over holiday breaks in these classes.  For many students this is a better choice given that summer classes regardless of the type of class, must be completed in such a shortened period.

Be sure to contact your counselor if you are already registered, and want to drop your class, so that they can delete your registration and your seat will be available to another student.
